    • problem beyond your internet provider

From what I've read here, the issues beyond my ISP are only informational. OK, I understand my ISP in Panama is not likely to complain to the Level 3 Parent in Arizona, but the outages are ridiculous. In just 2 weeks:
2021-07-21 02:10:21: Outage occurred lasting 1 minute 23 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-21 02:10:07: Outage occurred lasting 9 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-21 02:08:15: Outage occurred lasting 1 minute 26 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-21 01:56:48: Outage occurred lasting 4 minutes 29 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-13 23:17:41: Outage occurred lasting 16 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-13 23:16:22: Outage occurred lasting 41 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-13 06:07:33: Outage occurred lasting 12 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-07 02:02:11: Outage occurred lasting 10 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

2021-07-07 01:54:48: Outage occurred lasting 1 minute 14 seconds , indicating a problem beyond your internet provider.

My ISP is no saint, having 6 outages in that time period, but I can at least yell at them.

I have a TXT file of every outage going back a year. Is there something I can do?

    • RE: Extracting the Dashboard data into a report

      Hello aceideas

I had the same issue, but what I did was copy and paste the three lines of outage data above the graph. I pasted that into notepad. Unfortunately, and anything beyond the three latest entries is lost. So I was checking the site quite frequently. Filling in the missing ones is possible, but only manually … mouse over the outage graph bar and write down date, time and duration.

      e.g.

2020-08-24 12:55:18: Outage occurred lasting 2 minutes 40 seconds , indicating a problem with your internet provider.

2020-08-22 16:51:35: Outage occurred lasting 39 minutes 57 seconds , indicating a problem with your internet provider.

Good luck. I submitted the 30 some outages in 3 weeks to my ISP. They came out with no excuses and replaced old equipment.

    • Speed test: Outage label

      Greetings

I am using the hardware agent. ID 31521

On the speed test graphic, there are many labels for Outage. But when I mouse-over for date and time, there is no corresponding outages recorded in my outage graphic. Could you explain what this means?

    • RE: Software tutorial needed

      Hello Alex

I reset the software in the taskbar and waited a day.

There was no change in what appeared in the dashboard, so I ininstalled the software and reinstalled it.

Setup Failed. 0x80070643 Fatal error during installation.

This happened after I entered my user name and password that I use to open up the dashboard site.

There was no other email listing a user name and password in the Agent 31518 Notification email.

      Regards,

      John

    • Software tutorial needed

      Hello

I need help with using the OutagesIO software. I looked online for a tutorial and could not find anything.

I ordered the hardware, but that will take two weeks to arrive, so I thought I could use the software until it arrives.

I am confused because there were two different sites that I created accounts on and am not sure what the dfference is.

      https://www.outagesio.com/my-account/

      https://app.outagesio.com/

I downloaded and installed the software, unloaded it and launched it.

software agent at OutagesIO. ID: 31518

Where do I go to see the logs? One of the sites said …..

https://app.outagesio.com/agent/dashboard/id/xxxxx Heartbeat/Status: (in Red) Your agent is DISCONNECTED

According to my task bar, the program is on.

My internet went out multiple times yeaterday, but the graphs in the dashboard are blank. Nothing is recorded.

      Running Windows 10 home

      Thank you.
