No wifi config option on wifi deviceI actually won't be back until Monday (December 1st). Can we plan a time now for that day?
-
No wifi config option on wifi deviceI see. No. We have just one provider, Cogent. We did configure that device for wireless and it remained active for a while after we initially configured it, but then went into the "rebooting" mode.

No wifi config option on wifi deviceI'm not sure what you mean exactly. What would you like me to confirm?

No wifi config option on wifi deviceok. Thank you. I think we've got a better understanding of the hardware. We did configure an MT-300 and it stayed online for a while, but not is not available and in a rebooting status. Any ideas why this is happening?

No wifi config option on wifi deviceWe only purchased one of the MT3000 models. Our understanding was that this device would monitor our wifi networks and be able to notify us when they go down. It's odd that there is no "wireless" configuration option on a device that should monitor wireless networks. Am I missing something here? How should we configure it if there is seemingly no "wireless" configuration option on it?
-
No wifi config option on wifi deviceThanks for this additional information. How though do we configure the wireless on the GL-MT-3000? Because there is no "wireless" option in the configuration menu...
-
No wifi config option on wifi deviceok. I appreciate you checking. We are looking to use the GL-MT-3000 to monitor our wireless networks. If "Wireless" is not an option in the config, we need to know how to configure the device to monitor our wireless networks. That also raises the question of what does the "Wireless" setting on the MT-300N-V2 devices do? Do those devices have the ability to monitor wifi networks?
-
No wifi config option on wifi deviceI see. I checked 13166 and yes, the full model is: GL-MT-3000. However, this is a wireless device, shouldn't it have wireless in the config settings area?
-
No wifi config option on wifi deviceThat's great. Thank you. This is my first time using the forum. You are with Outages IO?

No wifi config option on wifi deviceI'm setting up two WAN devices and one WIFI device now and got the WAN devices setup with email alerts, however, on our Wifi device, I do not see an option to configure wireless. Ironically, I do see this option on the WAN devices. This is a screenshot from the config menu on the Wifi device:
And this is the config setting for a WAN device:
Would anyone be able to advise me on what I might be doing wrong with the setup here?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
