RPi-4 Working (but question)
-
- RPi-4
RPi-4 is not listed as supported in OutagesIO download list, but I do certify that it is working.
- Exec at Boot
Interesting enough, I tried most 'exec at boot' strategies on RPi, but did not succeeded and OutagesIO only working if launched through SSH at command line (which is not convenient).
Please, advice.

In Dashboard notifications, can only toggle-on alerts for 'inactive agent', but nothing else.
Am I missing something?
Thanks,

Hi and thank you for the feedback on this. We appreciate knowing what devices our agents runs on. Let's see if we can add this model.

It's called a Raspberry 4 or is it known as something else?

Maybe another Raspberry user can help. We added ARM built on a Raspberry but do not actually use any in house.

You are but it's our fault. We are setting up a new level called Extended reports. You can read about it in the new features forum.
We're trying to do this without disrupting the service. We will add some clarification on this soon. Extended reports will offer just that, historical reports, more details, filters, sorting and so on.
We also added a banner on login that asks people to post how they have or are using OutagesIO to solve problems in these forums and in return, we'll be happy to give you some preview time with the extended reports for your feedback.
Everything is about feedback, we just don't get enough. The vast majority of the OutagesIO members never give us any feedback and that makes it hard to know what we should focus on next :).

I assume that the official name to be 'Raspberry Pi 4' (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b/), but RPi-4 for short.
It now shows in the Dashboard as "Device: Raspberry, 3B+, 64 bit", but in fact now running on a 'Raspberry Pi 4'.
It might be that doesn't matter, as long is ARM. So, you may consider named just as 'Raspberry Pi (ARM)' or so.
I do own RPi-3b+ and RPi-4, and OutagesIO works on both (feel free to contact me if in need of test).
- Exec at Boot
After much trying, could not make the regular 'rc.local' process to work (which is the easiest to start process at boot, and I'm still puzzled).
But just could make it work through 'systemctl' way, and that is suffice (https://www.dexterindustries.com/howto/run-a-program-on-your-raspberry-pi-at-startup/).

Ok. Acknowledged.
Nevertheless, thank you for OutagesIO services and your time.

Thank you for the additional information.
We try to separate the download names in order to keep some stats on what is being downloaded the most, which seem to be hardest for members to install, things of that nature. I'll have this added.
In terms of testing, this kind of input helps us to know what works on what. Sometimes, we'll develop a version on something but there is no way we can test everything it can work on. This is where we look forward to people reporting what works for them.
Thank you for that input.

I had issues getting it running at boot too, i actually just hacked it in the end and ran a Cron job to check if it's running and start if not.
I've concluded I'm fine with this since I want it running all the time.
If we get loads more people with the same issue I'll take a proper look at it
