    I have software and a hardware device connected to the same router with ethernet cables, and I get different ping results.

    Also, outages occur and don't appear in alerts I have attached some pictures.131268.jpg 131274.jpg

        Hi,

        I'm sorry no one answered this, we didn't know about the post. Some of the notifications about new posts are not consistently being sent out. If you're still interested, we can take a closer look but we'll need more information to make sure our analysis is good.

        For example, you have a software agent installed on a PC, on your LAN, behind your router. Where do you have the hardware agent installed? Is it directly on the router also or on a switch or two switches behind it, etc. Information like this will help.

        Regards,

          @edmundo

          Looking at the historical pings I can see almost the same behavior in both agents, maybe around the time you were sending the image it appeared to be different but I can see a consistent issue at your site.
          The amount of outages you are experiencing is very high.

          One more note about alerts...

          Alerts need to be acknowledged before another one can be raised i.e. if you don't acknowledge, let's say, an outage alert, even if new outages are recorded you won't be seeing it in the alerts
