How to run outagesio on two Windows computers

I'd like to monitor two Internet services - T-Mobile 5G and Verizon 5G. I think T-Mobile has more instances of outages than Verizon. I'd like to monitor them and decide which one I should stay with and discontinue the other one.

How do I set it up?

Hi,

To give a proper answer, I need a little more information.

First, our agent doesn't run on mobiles, only on PC', servers and other devices running Windows, Linux, ARM, Pi, etc.

We have worked on developing an app but it simply doesn't work well as it keeps the network connection open killing the mobile battery very quickly.

That said, you might be using your mobile as a hot spot then are using wireless devices in your home/building to connect to that.

Can you confirm how you are using it please.

Second, if that is not the case, then our hardware is an option. Our hardware agent allows you to use WiFi rather than wired. You can either connect it to a free DHCP port or you can enable WiFi from your control panel then connect it to your local WiFi device.

This means that you can also use your mobile as a hot spot, connecting your agent to the phone then monitoring your mobiles Internet performance.

The installation of the agent is not provider related i.e. you can install the agent (the software you will install on each of your two PCs) and let the software run.

If one computer is connected to Verizon 5G and the other one is connected to T-Mobile you simply have to check how many outages were accounted to each agent and you will know which is best for you.

Otherwise, if you can have only one provider at a time for both computers then you can let the agent collect as much data as possible (let's say for one week) and check how many outages were collected; then you can RESET the agent's data (you will loose that historical info) and connect to the other provider to test it the same way you did it before
