How to purchase

@access-999
Greetings All.
OK so i have visited the website today from 2 different PC's.
Using Chrome / Microsoft Edge / Firefox.
when you go to Available packages and click on 30 Days / 6 Month Deal / 1 Year Deal nothing happens when the mouse hovers over the selection there is movement but no further response is apparent.
When you go to HW agents + Extended reports packages all functions work as expected and purchase is possible.Regards

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback.
Just to be 100% clear, this didn't happen while being logged in as the demo user right? This was using your own agent ID?I need to confirm this because some people had used the demo to purchase so we had to disable that otherwise, there was no actual member account to assign the purchase to.
-
One question that came up... do you have pop-ups disabled?
I ask because we cannot replicate this and wonder if we need to make a mention of it in the page. -
@OutagesIO_Support
I am trying to upload and / or send you a screen video of the attempted purchase. error message says not enough privileges -
Hi yes, there's probably a limit to how much you can upload. How large is the file, I'll take a look at the limits.
BTW, just a screen shot (or couple) or where you're seeing the problem would work too. The devs have been working on the paypal code so maybe something was overlooked when it was last worked on which would be a couple of days ago.

Hi,
Yes, that makes sense but I'll confirm it with dev when they are back in a couple of days.
The options don't show up because both your agents are already upgraded to Extended. You get the option for a handle bundle because that would be a completely new hardware agent and reports.
So if you wanted to buy a hardware agent, that takes you to another page since we don't have that option built into the site yet. It's something they are working on. But if you wanted to upgrade an already upgraded agent, there would not be such an option. Just wait until the current upgrade is done, then upgrade again using which ever package suits your needs.
However, I did notice something else which doesn't seem to be related to what you have shared but is related to purchases.
Thanks for bringing this up.

@OutagesIO_Support
Greetings, thanks for your reply.Please be advised I raised this issue before any purchase was made.
So your synopsis that the features is not available because both agents are already upgraded to extended, on this occasion may be incorrect.
The video is representative of the original problem as reported.
If I can offer any further assistance please feel free to contact me, failing that I will inform you of my findings during my next purchase.

Maybe I missed something but it's why I've sent this to dev so they can look on Wed. We appreciate being notified of any problems. Too many don't say anything which makes problems hard to fix.

Hi Alan,I have to admit it is a quite weird situation since you are supposed to be able to buy any package no matter if your agents have been already granted an extended report package or not.
May I ask you your permission to reset your password from our admin tool so that i can login as you and see what you see??

@SBK
No problem. Please feel free to conduct any tests you wish, any assistance I can offer please ask.
If i log into my account using my tablet all features are available.
I have a laptop and a second pc available as well if required.
Dependant on time difference you can run a desktop sharing session if you wish and it helps to show the problem.
I am aware that this may be a local problem that only I am having but would be nice to resolve for me and also for your reference.

If you are able to see the buttons correctly using another device then it seems there is a setting in your browser that is preventing the javascript associated with the PayPal buttons to not run.Whatever is the browser you are using on the PC that "doesnt" shows the PayPal buttons when you are on the page please press the F12 function
This will open the JS console, if not just click on the "console" tab then refresh the page where the paypal buttons should show up and check the console for any error (not interested in warning only) that could show up

@SBK
Greetings Support.
Following your instructions i have identified the problem and rectified.
The PayPal and card payment options were not showing up because of the virus security package installed on all pc's.
The package on the tablet must be slightly different allowing it to work.E S E T INTERNET SECURITY 15.0.23.0
This has banking protection built in where it opens a secure browser for Bank, PayPal, Card Services, etc.
this is where the problem was.
SOLUTION
Turn off banking protection, open Page Available Packages, refresh page, turn on Banking protection, refresh page PayPal and Debit or Credit Card options appear, add the page: https://app.outagesio.com/agent/availablePackages to Banking Protection.
That seems to work and all is good.
Hopefully that will conclude this thread i hope that others may find the resolution useful.
Thanks to the people who support the software as well, for a problem that was not with there product, who without this resolution would not have been found.Regards

Great Alan and thank you for bringing it to our attention! -
Always happy to help.
Please consider mentioning us in other forums, telling friends or sharing a review on Google.
People have a very hard time finding us because Google favors the very deep pockets of providers and outage sites that may prefer you don't find tools like this :). -
