Speed Test
-
I am puzzled by a couple of things related to speed tests:
- what is causing the notice to "check the speed you set ..."?
attachedshows my speed test settings. The attached
shows the results of my speed tests - averaging 90 Mbps. The attached
shows a portion of my Optimum bill showing that I am paying for 200 Mbps.
My Hardware agent is attached via Ethernet cable to the one Ethernet port on my Google WiFi router.
- Is it reasonable for the Google router to be causing my realized speed to be half what I am paying for?
- what is causing the notice to "check the speed you set ..."?

Hi,
I'm assuming you didn't notice the mention in the purchase page. These agents have 100Mbps ports so with our app running on it, it would max out below 100Mbps.
The point of the speed test isn't really to see if you can max out the connection but to see if you have a usable amount of bandwidth.
For example, even with a 100Mbps max, if you were seeing 5 or 10Mbps for example, you would know there is something really wrong.
Hope this helps.
