Win10 install failed

Thank you for reporting this. We are looking into it.

I just tested using win8 and win10 and in both cases, was able to save the file as named in the download, no need to rename it. I then successfully installed as well so am not seeing the same problem.
Can you try again using Ed's suggestions.

It should be ok now. We tested across several PCs and Win7, 8 and 10.
Not sure if we tested 11 but it should be fine too now. -
Can you let me know what the ID is please.
-
Since that one didn't complete, just let it expire in 24hrs and create a new software agent, then follow all of the steps and see what happens.

Hi,
Is this resolved now?
-
Yes, I see that one, not installed.
What driver did you uninstall? I assume you mean the old agent?
After that, you checked to make sure there was not another, just in case? Can you check your services to see if there is an Echo Networks service?
I think what is happening is that the service is getting installed, hence why you see it complete but the service is not starting. Something is preventing the service from starting.
Usually, that's because the install wasn't done as the Administrator or there is a virus or other security scanner preventing the service from being installed or starting.
The agent needs to open ICMP in the firewall which is why the installer needs admin access. That or you can add the service manually. That's here in the forums somewhere, a post.

Sorry, not Driver, it was the Agent I uninstalled. Repeated uninstall today. Checked Task Manager and didn't find Echo Networks Service.
Logged on as Admin. Created Agent 130703. Disabled anti-virus software. Installation appeared to "finish" OK. Agent seems to be running (see image below), but display still says installation needs to be completed.
Windows Defender firewall shows Echo Networks Service as being allowed through the firewall.

Let me talk with a developer. I think I have some idea of what's happening but need to confirm.
