I have (I think) successfully updated my Linux client to the latest version
OTM version 1.62.2006
and am getting heartbeat/status and pings, which correctly indicate when I deliberately disconnect the network connection, but nothing is shown under "breakdown..." , "my outages" and "when are most...".
Under recent events I just see when I first started it and when it last got reconnected, but nothing else.
I.e.
Agent communications2022-04-09 08:19:38: Agent is sending updated hops to OutagesIO.
2022-04-08 16:07:46: Agent is now communicating with OutagesIO.So have I got something wrong, or are these no longer available in the free service?

Hi, if you share the agent ID, I can take a look but if you don't see anything, it's likely because the agent has not picked up any IP outages yet.

@mikeshand While the agent can detect local outages, the service is mainly trying to monitor the provider. That is the main goal.
You aren't seeing IP outages because those are disconnections, they aren't IP outages that can be logged. I'll take a look with a dev later on and we'll give you a little more feedback about how things work.

Most times, you'll know if even your own local gateway goes down but a lot of that has to do with how a network is set up.
Some folks have multiple internal devices like a wireless router connected to their own router which is then connected to their providers.
There is no way for the agent to know these things so to us, it's expected to work on a 'traditional' network which is usually the providers router/modem only.
That said, for companies that do have multiple internal gateways, we have a feature we can manually enable that tells the reports side where the local network ends and where the provider starts otherwise, those folks get reports of the LAN being down when it's actually the provider or vise versa.
Hard to have a tool that does it all automatically but we keep working on it :).
