    I have the extended reports, all looks good.
    When I go to set speed test to run every hour I get the following message.
    Please check the speed you set into 'Configure Speed Test' since it is different from the measured average speed.
    So IS is Talk Talk package is 65 guaranteed download is 47 can't find end more information than that I would assume the profile is 80 / 20 ( that's what they used to call it )
    I have tried different numbers but get the same message.
    Any assistance please.

      Hi,

      The first question would be what exactly are you paying for? Is it 80 download and 20 upload? Your bill or online account should give you that information and if it doesn't, that's a little ambiguous on their part.

      Now, what you are asking about is a feature we recently added and like all new features, can always be improved if it's not working quite like we planned.

      When speed testing is enabled, members sometimes enter the wrong speed they are paying for. Sometimes, members put in 500Mbps when they are in fact paying for 100Mbps or they might put in 10Mbps when they are actually paying to get 100Mbps.

      To help in trying to give useful and more accurate results, as the speed tests come in, an analysis is made to get some idea of what the average speed is.

      If for example, you entered you're paying for 500Mbps in the question that asks 'What speed is the provider promising for this connection?' but the results are either much lower or higher on average, then the system will basically send a gentle prompt, kind of asking 'are you sure you set the correct speed in that field?

      If you can confirm what speed you are supposed to be getting from your provider, that's what you'll want in the question.

      If you can share the agent ID, I can also take a closer look.

        The isp Talk talk.
        The line profile is 80 20
        The package is fiber 65
        The garenteed download is 47 ( this changes )

        So with the line profile being 80 20, I am 150 meter's from the cabinet I would be expecting with crosstalk on he line a speed of about 63 to 68.

          If you are paying for 80 download, then you have the setting correctly entered and from what I see, your average speed is 43.39 Mbps based on around 24 tests.

          It is consistently this rate so either something is using up some of your bandwidth and you're not aware of it or you are getting a bit over half of what you are being promised.

          Also, your upload speed seems to average around the 12Mbps also quite consistently.

          Other than finding something on your network that is using up bandwidth you're not aware of, then it appears you're not getting what you are paying for. We always suggest finding a neighbor or two that would be willing to install and comparing results.
