I received the email with the Mac for my new device. Now that I've received my device I've noticed that activation code portion of my email was left blank. What's the best way to obtain this?

Also, side question. Is there a way, once it's on the network and has a DHCP address, to assign this device a static ip/route/dns?

      Hi,

Yes, you're right, there is no activation code. I'll pass this on to the dev to fix.

In terms of DHCP, once your agent has a DHCP IP, you can look on your router/firewall, what ever device is serving the DHCP IPs and make it static in the DHCP settings.

There is no way to set the agent to a fixed IP. We used to offer that but too many people lost access to their devices and could not get back into them.

I see your hardware agent is up and running so someone will get back to you with an activation code asap. In the meantime, it's collecting data.

I can't get hold of the dev today so I set a temp act code.
Give it a try and see if it activates it into your account.

Use the MAC then 123456 as the activation code.

The email problem will be fixed on Monday.

          Hi,

We have found the possible reason for that mistake and it has been fixed.
It should be considered solved but will wait to confirm it 100% in the following days

@7thlensinc Were you able to get this agent activated into your account with the temp code I supplied? Is everything ok now?

Everything is up and working. I am still using the temp code as I have not received another code yet.

@7thlensinc So long as you see it in your dashboard, the activation is done and it is now assigned to your account.

The temp code was just to get you up and running asap :).

I confirm from a technical standpoint that the temporary code was to allow you to associate that specific hardware to your account.

The activation code is gone and all things are working fine from our perspective
